What to expect

Diagnostics first

Warning lights, knocks, overheating and poor fuel economy usually have one root cause. We test and trace it, then explain what we found in plain language before you approve any work.

Suspension, steering and brakes

Potholes and kerb strikes bend arms, wear bushes and knock out alignment. We replace worn components and set the vehicle up so it tracks straight and stops evenly.

Servicing and maintenance

Oil and filter changes, belts, plugs, fluids and a full check-over. Regular servicing is still the cheapest mechanical work you will ever pay for.

Common questions

Do I have to bring my own parts?: No, though you're welcome to. We source parts where we can and always quote parts and labour separately so you can see what you're paying for.
Can you service the car while it's in for bodywork?: Yes — that's the advantage of one workshop. We can do mechanical work while the vehicle is already with us.
Do you road-test after repairs?: Every mechanical repair is road-tested before we hand the keys back.
